In the spirit of Mandela Day, our Cape Town and Joburg teams visited the Cravenby Care Centre and Solutions Care Centre in Sebokeng respectively.
Our Joburg team met the people of Solutions Care Centre in Sebokeng. Blankets were donated to the elderly people being cared for by the centre. They also treated the residents to some takeaways, juice and cold drinks for lunch.
"It was a great privilege to donate to the elderly. One could really sense the appreciation of the people who received this small donation."
The Cape Town team visited Cravenby Care Centre. The founder, Maliga Naidoo started off by taking in children that came to her door for food every day. Now she arranges adoptions, houses ladies who have had mental breakdowns and nurses them back to reality. They were all very grateful mostly for the food items and were also happy to take pictures and offered words of gratitude.
"We left there grateful that people like Maliga do what they do, care for those that have been abandoned by their own."
