Our Managing Director, Carlo Klopper, unveiled FS-System’s new IoT Platform on the 29th of November 2018 at our Annual Client & Supplier Event.
The platform will be focused on remote monitoring of critical infrastructure including fire panels, I/O (input/output) monitoring, power metering, water metering and monitoring of physical asset movement.
The communication backbone utilizes Sigfox, providing a low cost and high availability alternative to GPRS and traditional WLAN infrastructure. All monitoring, report and dashboards are available through a secure cloud based, web enabled front-end.
The launch of our IoT offering is FS-Systems’ first step to providing an edge based, and a scalable Building Management System offering to our client base, unlocking ROI by minimizing risk the of infrastructure downtime and driving improved optimization.
